MotoGP 18 Description
MotoGP 18 is a yet another installment in the motorcycle racing game series based on the official MotoGP license. The game was developed by Milestone known for creating previous installments of the MotoGP series as well as games Gravel and RIDE series.
Mechanics
The game focuses on representing motorcycle races as an advanced simulation. The developers have worked hard to translate the high level of realism into their game, thus mastering a particular machine poses a challenge. In comparison with previous installments in the series, MotoGP 18 features entirely new vehicle handling physics that makes the entire experience even more realistic.
As the title suggests, the game described herein is based on the license of 2018 season of MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup races, and features riders, teams, and motorcycles fans know very well. There are nineteen different tracks, including (for the first time in the series' history) Chang International Circuit – a racing track located in Buri Ram, Thailand.
Players can also enjoy the spectator mode and elaborate tutorials that include numerous tips regarding riding techniques. In comparison to its predecessors, MotoGP 18 features improved AI, as well as collision and tire management systems. Less experienced players are free to use optional tips during the races.
Game modes
MotoGP 18 features a single-player career mode, in which players select a rookie rider and oversee his career development – from MotoGP Rookies Cup to MotoGP veteran.
The game includes also a multiplayer mode with the online MotoGP eSport Championship introduced by the previous installment. This time around, the rivalry is much more ambitious and includes more races.
Technical aspects
MotoGP 18 is a form of series' reboot with entirely new (and high) quality. The key aspect of this undertaking was changing the graphics engine to Unreal Engine, which has resulted in much more appealing visuals.
