Motion Sports: Play For Real Description
Motion Sports features a variety of sports you can perform. Thanks to Kinect functionality, your body serves as a controller. Intuitive controls makes the Ubisoft’s game approachable for everyone, regardless of age or gaming experience.
This title was created on the wave of popularity surrounding Wii Sports series released on the Nintendo console – here too you can select from a variety of sports. The difference is that the aforementioned Wii game has a comic-like design with Mii characters. On the other hand, the French developer chose more realistic visuals and more serious approach.
The available sports include skiing, American football, or penalty shooting. All the time you use your body for controls, trying to mimic real-life behavior. Thus, while skiing down a slope you should lean forward in order to speed up, and turn by bending toward an appropriate direction. Moreover, while playing with a friend, you can interrupt them by “throwing a snowball” at them – then the opponent’s screen gets covered with snow.
Most fun in the majority of mini-games included in the game comes from playing with others. E.g. in penalty shots one person gets to shoot, while the other, the goalkeeper, tries to save the shot. Players’ moves are accurately rendered onscreen, so everyone can have equally much fun.
