Aftermath is a big expansion to the Mortal Kombat 11. The add-on does not change the game mechanics. Instead, it offers a new feature campaign focusing on Liu Kang and three playable characters.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is the first big add-on to the eleventh part of the cult fighting game series. The expansion introduces a new feature campaign focused on the fire god Liu Kang. NetherRealm Studios is responsible for the production of the game. This is not a stand-alone DLC, so it requires a basic version of the game to work.
Plot
The action presented in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath focuses on the fire god Liu Kang, who acts as guardian of time and defender of the Earthrealm. The hero is forced to recruit two allies to help him face the imminent threat.
Mechanics
The developers decided not to modify the gameplay mechanics. So again, we are dealing with a fighting game that focuses on the dynamics and brutality of the skirmishes. Instead, new content has been added to the game. With the new feature campaign, three characters were implemented - Sheeva, the queen of the Shokan ancient race, Fujin the god of the wind and the cult cyborg RoboCop, known from the movies.
Technical aspects
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath offers the same level of graphics as the basic game.
