Morbid Metal is a slasher with roguelike elements. The game was developed by an indie developer - Felix Schade.

Plot

Morbid Metal takes us on a journey to the science fiction postapocalyptic universe. We play as heroes who wander through the locations and eliminate hordes of enemies, discovering the secrets of this world full of dangers on their way.

Game mechanics

In Morbid Metal we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). The adventure leads us through various locations - from vast wastelands to city ruins. The levels are partially procedurally generated, so each playthrough looks different. We fight dynamic battles with hordes of enemies, among which we can find both regular adversaries and powerful enemies acting as bosses. We eliminate enemies using futuristic cold weapons and a variety of combat skills.

Compared to other titles of this type, the title is distinguished by the fact that we can take up to four characters on each expedition, between which we can switch instantly on the fly. Thanks to this, nothing stands in the way of creating long, complex and spectacular combos; we can start a given attack with one character, continue with the second and finish in the skin of the third.

As we progress we unlock heroes, each of which has a unique fighting style and its own special skill. In addition, over time we gain access to various upgrades; while some stay with us forever, we lose access to others upon death.

Technical aspects

Morbid Metal features very decent graphics. We like the detailed locations and detailed enemies, as well as the smooth, quick animations of attacks.
