Monzo

Monzo, released on iOS and AND, is a puzzle game allowing you to become a virtual modeler. The title was produced by Madfinger Games studio, known from such series as Shadowgun or Dead Trigger.

Mechanics

In Monzo, the player's task is to assemble virtual models of various objects. There is no time pressure or additional challenges. Instead, the fun is all about getting satisfaction from building models. Each of them comes in a box containing dozens or even hundreds of parts. With the help of the included instructions we have to assemble them all in the right way and in the right order, eventually creating e.g. a car, a pistol or a motorcycle. Once we have achieved this, we also have the option of painting our work and sharing our success with friends via social networking sites. The authors put a lot of work into the user interface to make the on-screen movements as close as possible to those made when assembling the models in the real world.

Monzo offers a wide range of different models. These include the Messerschmitt aircraft, the Black Widow helicopter, a sports car, guns, several dinosaurs and a set of Leonardo Da Vinci's inventions. In addition, a large set of paints, stickers and backgrounds are available. The game has a microtransactions system - we can spend real money on new models.
