Monster Trucks Mayhem is a relatively difficult racing game in which we sit behind the wheel of one of the title machines. These are traditional pick-ups that are equipped with a completely new suspension and powerful tires. Interestingly, this is not the first attempt to release a similar game for the Gameboy Advance console. Holders of this handheld handheld have in the past already seen games such as Monster Trucks or Monster Truck Madness. Apex Designs studio is responsible for the preparation of this racer, known only thanks to Payback, the not very successful clone of the first part of the Grand Theft Auto saga. The presented product appeared exclusively on Gameboy Advance.
In the course of the game we mainly take part in classic monster truck races, most often racing with three other machines. Most of the races are held in specially prepared for this purpose arenas. The player must of course take into account the presence of hills and other obstacles of this type. Of course, there are a few laps to beat, and the winner is the player who will be the first to bet at the finish line. Unfortunately, the game is not very extensive when it comes to the presence of various bonuses. Virtually all vehicles and routes are immediately available.
The second type of races should be more closely associated with competitions broadcast on television. The player's task is to cover a straight section of the road and at the same time crush as many cars in a row as possible. Precision is therefore more important here, although a good time to reach the finish line is also important. Controlling a monster truck is quite difficult because it's very easy to slip. A certain facilitation is the possibility of using nitro. Visually, Monster Trucks Mayhem presents itself extremely well. The action is observed from the perspective of a third person, and so it is typical for "fully fledged" racing games camera setting. The most beautiful was the title monster truck. This game has a standard multiplayer for two people.
