Monster Truck Rumble PC

A typical example of a low-budget race in which the player sits behind the wheel of one of the title monster trucks, i.e. vehicles on giant wheels. It is worth mentioning that this is a fully-fledged dexterity game, in which particular emphasis is placed on uncomplicated play.

The authors of "Monster Truck Rumble" have prepared four basic modes for a single player. Free Run allows you to get acquainted with the available routes. The player is not limited in any way so that he can prepare for the right events. A small variety are the animals appearing here and there. In Circuit Race we are dealing with a traditional race, where the one who comes to the finish line first wins. During the competition you have to overcome numerous checkpoints (control gates), which have been distributed all over the area. It is worth mentioning that the race is held on one of six different maps. Wreck 'n' Crush refers to the famous events with the participation of monster trucks, in which their task is to drive a relatively short section of the route combined with the spectacular crushing of the cars set up. This mode, in contrast to real competitions, gives the player a little more freedom. The winner is the person who manages to destroy as many vehicles in the area as possible within a specified time. The last available mode, the Lane Race, is similar to the Circuit Race, but the player has to cope with the elimination of numerous obstacles. Multiplayer in "Monster Truck Rumble" plays a symbolic role, players can stand up to a duel on a split-screen. During the race you can use a handy radar, which, depending on the situation, can indicate the way to the next checkpoint or cars requiring crushing. Despite the fact that the game was focused on arcade play, the damage was taken care of. Unfortunately, they are not shown, instead, a special bar appears on the screen informing about the current degree of damage.

The game's visuals are simplified, both for the monster trucks themselves and for the whole environment. It is also worth mentioning that most of the races are held in desert areas.
