Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten Description
Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is a jRPG that is a part of the series started by Utawarerumono and developed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. It was developed by Aquaplus studio, the authors of all previous installments in the series.
Plot
The game tells the story of a young man living only with his mother and sister in a small province of Ennakamuy. He was convinced that his father had died, but during one of the expeditions assigned by the local nobleman he meets a mysterious girl who claims otherwise.
Intrigued, he travels with her to Arva Shulan, a country that doesn't even exist on any maps. There he will try to find his father and get involved in an intrigue which may change the fate of the whole world.
Munemitsu Suga, who wrote the story for the first Utawarerumono, was responsible for the game's script.
Game mechanics
In contrast to the earlier installments of the series, which were visual novel adventure games with turn-based battles, Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is a full-fledged jRPG.
We explore the world, freely roaming the vast 3D locations. We complete tasks, develop heroes and fight with hordes of enemies.
The battle system is turn-based, allowing us to command a team of heroes. Winning requires the proper use of skills of each member of the group.
Game modes
The game offers only single player mode.
Technical aspects
Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten features eye-pleasing 3D graphics done in a slightly cartoonish style. An additional attraction are numerous animated cutscenes, realized in anime convention.
