An adventure and educational game produced by Larian studio for 11-12 year olds. The player's task is to help a teenage hero, who moved in time to ancient Egypt, crack down on the evil Horus. Apart from entertainment, the game supports the development of logical thinking skills and solving mathematical tasks.

Monkey Tales: Szakala Valley is the fifth part of the adventure and educational game series developed by the Belgian studio Larian. The production was created in cooperation with educators as a combination of fun and learning.

The plot is the culmination of the five-part saga of the Little Tales Monkey. The teenage hero moves in time to ancient Egypt, where he finally intends to crack down on the evil Horus. The player must help the young cunning player survive on the hot sands of the desert and find his way to an ancient temple where the main antagonist of the series hid.

The game is maintained in the convention of adventure and skill game. The hero, whose actions are directed by the player, explores locations, solves logical puzzles and struggles with enemies. Importantly, combat mechanics is based on a mathematical mini-game that checks the basic skills of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing natural numbers.
