Mobius Front '83 PC

Möbius Front '83 is a strategy game in which we try to defend the United States from the 1980s against an attack from the USA from the alternative world. The game was developed and published by the indie company Zachtronics Industries (authors of such titles as Molek-Syntez, SHENZHEN I/O or Ironclad Tactics).

Plot

Möbius Front '83 takes place in 1983. United States of America is being attacked by an unusual invader - American soldiers from an alternative reality. Interestingly, the idea for the game and the plot was taken from official military textbooks of the US army from the 1980s.

Mechanics

Möbius Front '83 is quite a classic turn-based strategy that is inspired by Advance Wars and Steel Division cycles, among others. The action is observed from a top-down view and the game map is divided into hexagons. The player's task is to lead his troops in such a way as to outsmart and defeat the enemy. In the game you can find a whole range of different units. We have infantry, powerful tanks, helicopters, artillery.

Game modes

In Möbius Front '83 we can only play alone. The core of the game is a feature campaign. The player also has access to additional mini-games and solitaire mode.

Technical aspects

Möbius Front '83 has simple, two-dimensional graphics, which are based mainly on hand-drawn illustrations. Another noteworthy feature of the campaign is the audiovisual setting which includes animated scenes and fully-sounding dialogues.
