The next instalment of the baseball simulator series for Sony consoles. The authors have fully used the MLB League licence, thanks to which we get all the teams, players and stadiums known from real competitions. The most important novelty is interactive training.

is responsible for the creation and release of this work. Together with the next edition of this series, which has been published for many years, the authors have prepared a substantial set of new elements and corrections. First of all, we can reincarnate a player we have created in Road to the Show mode (numbered 3.0 in this section). The most important novelty in this form of play is an interactive training, consisting of smaller mini-games, with the help of which we can increase the skills of our charges. In addition, the control was refined and the role of the trainer was emphasized. Another improved fun mode is Franchise, in which we have to think like club owners, solving problems with payouts and arranging line-ups and taking care of the atmosphere between players.

Apart from the above add-ons, the mechanics of the game and players' behaviour have also been refined. Between matches, but also during their duration, we can view numerous statistics and hints. An interesting option is the online league, thanks to which players can play virtual matches before those taking place in reality. The authors have also added a fifth difficulty level, called Legend Mode, which is a big challenge even for fans of many years.

The creators have taken care of various details and flavors, making the MLB one of the best baseball simulators on the market. Fans can easily recognize stadiums, team mascots and the players themselves, also because of their distinctive clothing and appearance. The matches are played at different times of the day, and the audience reacts in a more realistic and dynamic way (for example, the clothes of people in the stands change depending on the weather).

The creators have prepared a much larger number of animations and have developed many other graphic elements. Players can also listen to their own music while playing and record voices and use them in the game (e.g. by adding shouts from the audience). A nice addition is also the ability to save repetitions on the hard disk in the form of movies. In addition, there is an option to create your own team of dreams and share them with other players via the Internet.
