Mining Industry Simulator

Mining Industry Simulator (Mining Industry Simulator) is one of many productions belonging to the popular type of simulators. The game is the responsibility of the Austrian team Crafty Studios, known for such titles as Oil Enterprise and Xtreme Roads USA. The developer has also developed a number of smaller projects. The production was released by Ravenscourt in November 2014, and in September 2015 it went to Poland thanks to Cenega.

Mechanics

Players play the role of the owner of a small mining company, which we must lead to great successes. In order to do this, various contracts have to be carried out, so while playing you have to take care of a number of elements - from the extraction of raw materials (gravel and iron ore) in mines to PR aspects. However, gameplay is not based on running with a pickax in hand, or transporting materials using one of the dozens of available machines. Instead, the creators decided to give players a kind of business simulator, in which the game is based on managing the flow of capital, supervising the entire production process and managing PR activities. All this with the help of appropriate tables, statistics and reports.

Language version

The production is available in the Polish language version (subtitles) for which QLOC S.A. is responsible. Interestingly, the mining company's simulator has not only received a simple, native language version, but also Silesian subtitles.

Technical issues

In the case of the Mining Company Simulator it is hard to talk about advanced technology, because most of the time we only follow various tables and windows in which the data is displayed. In the background, there are various scenes like the view of employees performing their assigned tasks, but they are of marginal importance.
