Minigore 2: Zombies

Minigore 2: Zombies is a simple mobile shooter, which is a continuation of the game released on iOS in mid-2009. The title was created by an independent studio Mountain Sheep from Finland, with such productions as Death Rally or Super Hind.

Mechanics

In Minigore 2: Zombies, we play as John Gore, known from the original John Gore, who travels through the successive locations and faces zombie hordes. However, outside of zombies, we can also encounter about 60 of other original opponents, such as bloodthirsty rabbits, murderous penguins, crazy lumberjacks, and even skeletons. During the game, we gain access to a total of 20 heroes, although each of them has the same set of skills, and the differences boil down only to their appearance.

The action is shown from an isometric view, and the game takes place at a fairly fast pace and it is about eliminating opponents approaching us from different sides. We can defend ourselves with a large arsenal, in which there are both different types of pistols and rifles, as well as melee weapons such as a saber or axe. From time to time, we will also come across boxes with supplies, which will allow us to enjoy a bit more sophisticated weapons such as SMG, M60 rifle, grenade launcher, etc. Killed enemies drop money for which we can buy various power-ups and weapons or improve the ones we already have. In the same way, we unlock successive locations and characters.

Technical aspects

Minigore 2: Zombies offers relatively simple 3D graphics. The game also offers a grotesque atmosphere and a good dose of dark humor. The characters, stylized on cardboards, resemble the ones from Minecraft.
