Action game with arcade elements, designed by the development team of Keen Software House studio. In 2090, the inhabitants of the Solar System struggle with the consequences of political divisions. Humanity is fighting for the raw materials found on asteroids. The player plays the role of captain of a small mining ship trying to gain valuable resources.

Miner Wars Arena is an uncomplicated action game, which, according to the developers from Keen Software House, is supposed to be an introduction to a much more complex production, such as Miner Wars 2081. The classic game Tunneler has become a direct source of inspiration for the creators.

Miner Wars Arena has no feature mode. Players need only a brief remark about the location of the action in the year 2090, when a divided humanity is fighting ruthlessly for the raw materials hidden in the asteroids circulating in the Solar System.

The player takes on the role of captain of a small spacecraft, adapted to both the extraction of valuable resources and the fight against enemies. The game is about sweeping through the surface of the asteroids in search of raw materials, performing assigned tasks and eliminating enemy units. As the game progresses, it is possible to make modifications to the vehicle, as well as to gain new ranks and trophies.

The game offers two variants of fun as standard - Skirmish and Tournament. In addition, for the supporters of competition with a living opponent, the creators have prepared a simple multiplayer mode for two people on a split screen.

In the technical layer of Miner Wars Arena is based on the capabilities of the popular Unity 3D pinion. Three-dimensional graphics used in the game clearly indicate the low-budget nature of production. What deserves attention is the fully destructible environment of the boards, allowing, among other things, the drilling of tunnels.
