Mighty Switch Force! Description
Mighty Switch Force!, released on 3DS and WiiU, is a colorful two-dimensional platformer, in which, in addition to fighting fantastical opponents, we also have to solve several logical puzzles. The game was developed by WayForward. The developer has been creating titles for all the most important hardware platforms for years, its most famous titles being Aliens: Infestation, BloodRayne: Betrayal, Contra 4 and Silent Hill: Book of Memories.
Plot
We play as Patricia Wagon, a cyber police officer with a futuristic arsenal and special skills to help her fight cunning criminals. We have to hunt for dangerous hooligans sisters, which we must find and stop in each of the several levels.
Mechanics
During the game, we travel through two-dimensional levels, full of different types of opponents, which we can defeat with weapons. Apart from the combat, we have to find the already mentioned five bandits, always hiding in hard to reach places. The exploration of the levels is facilitated by the heroine's helmet with a police siren that transforms her surroundings. When you turn it on, you can attract platforms and other background objects, while pushing those you have access to into the background to continue your journey. Over time, the number of platforms and the complexity of their combinations will increase. When that happens, in addition to the ability to think logically, we must also show dexterity, switching between two layers containing different objects.
