MicroTown PC

MicroTown is a city builder economic strategy, in which players develop their settlements from scratch. The game is a debut work of the independent Latvian studio Snowy Ash Games.

Mechanics

MicroTown takes place on procedurally-generated maps shown in isometric view. During the game's course, our primary goal is to create a large and prosperous settlement. To do this, it is not enough to deal with the acquisition of resources and construction of new buildings (which we erect on hexagonal fields). In addition, we have the task of creating a suitable road infrastructure (every building should have a path leading to it) and production chains. Thanks to this, our settlers will be able to produce various goods - food and honey, beer or useful tools. In addition, we are expanding our capabilities with new technologies developed during the game, which enable us to discover new ways to process resources. From time to time it is also worth to pay attention to the needs of our subjects and fulfill their desires.

Game modes

MicroTown offers only solo gameplay. In addition to individual scenarios and campaigns, the devs preapred a sandbox mode, where no targets are set.

Technical aspects

MicroTown features nice pixel art graphics. The whole thing is clear, which combined with a well-designed interface enables us to quickly grasp the situation on the map.
