MicroMan

MicroMan is a humorous action adventure game in which we play the role of a diminished man discovering human civilization from a completely new (and much less pleasant) perspective. The game was developed and published by the Polish company Glob Games Studio (responsible for Accident: To the Rescue).

Plot

In MicroMan, we play the role of the smallest human being on Earth - a laboratory worker who fell into an experimental diminishing capsule as a result of an accident. The hero tries to find a way to get his old life back.

Mechanics

MicroMan is an action adventure game in which we observe the world from the third person perspective ( TPP). The gameplay here consists of travel through locations and dealing with various types of challenges - sometimes in the form of battles with enemies (e.g. rats or hedgehogs), other times, they involve getting to a certain place (e.g. to get to an approaching bus) or to avoid danger (e.g. human foot).

During the game we also travel with the use of non-typical vehicles (e.g. butterfly or skateboard). From time to time, the player is forced to make decisions which are not without influence on the rest of the adventure.

Game modes

We can only play MicroMan alone. The main game mode is a feature campaign.

Technical aspects

MicroMan has nice, three-dimensional graphics. Both the game environment and the models of individual characters are characterized by a high level of detail (although they are not overly realistic). The engine responsible for the lighting also makes a good impression, as it makes individual surfaces and light sources look credible.
