Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament is a continuation of a crazy arcade game in which we race miniature cars on routes located in well-known places of everyday use. The second part of the game is again the responsibility of Codemasters Software studio. Like the original, the title was first published on consoles (in this case GameBoyu, SEGA Genesis and SNES), from where it was transferred to the PC.

Micro Machines 2 continues the crazy ideas of the creators, included in the first part of the game. The places where we will have to compete are e.g. a table in the dining room, a desk in the office, a tree house or a floor in the bathroom. In the new version, apart from the traditional models of cars, modelled on toys from Galoob (now Hasbro), we will also find new "machines", such as a helicopter or a hovercraft. This resulted in the emergence of new water and air stages in the game. Each of the models controlled by us has slightly different driving characteristics - depending on the scenery of the race, players are required to use a slightly different driving technique.

Micro Machines 2 offers players a range of multiplayer competition modes that give fun a new dimension. We can race in 2, 3 or 4 people on a shared or split screen, and to control our cars we can use both the joystick and the keyboard. Compared to the original, the frame of the game has not changed drastically, and the action is still observed in the characteristic top-down perspective. The graphics are a bit more detailed, but still kept in a fun cartoon style, which can appeal to both kids and adult players.
