A multiplayer first-person perspective shooter. As Nintendo shuns extreme violence, the title does not feature brutal gameplay like the Doom or Call of Duty series. Instead, you play a futuristic football variation designed for two teams of three. The players control robots which shoot at a giant ball and by doing so, try to put it in the back of the opponent’s net.

Metroid Prime: Blast Ball for 3DS is a multiplayer shooter by Nintendo. Naturally, the Japanese company shuns extreme violence, therefore the production is completely different from the series like Call of Duty or Doom. Instead, you play a futuristic football variation.

Mechanics

Gameplay features 3 v 3 matches. You control robots which shoot at a giant ball and thus try to score against the opponent. During gameplay, you can both be shot down and shoot other players, which makes gameplay more interesting. Moreover, the more damage the ball suffers, the smaller it gets, which significantly impedes controlling it towards the end of a match. Gameplay requires strict cooperation between the players, sometimes even sacrifice.
