OpenCritic
The second feature DLC for the game Metro Exodus, in which the creators take us to Vladivostok, devastated by the tsunami, playing the role of Sam, we travel through a dangerous city, trying to find a way to get to the United States. In contrast to the previous add-on, in Metro Exodus: Sam's Story, the authors provide us with a vast map, on which we can move freely.

Metro Exodus: Sam's Story Description
Sam's Story is the second (after The Two Colonels) story DLC for Metro Exodus. The add-on was developed by the devs of the basic version of the FPS and the first add-on, i.e. 4A Games studio.
Plot
The main character of Metro Exodus: Sam's Story is Sam, an American soldier who has found his place both among the inhabitants of the Moscow subway and onboard the Aurora train. Nevertheless, he tries to find a way back to the United States to see if his loved ones managed to survive the war. His search leads him to Vladivostok, devastated by a powerful tsunami, where his survival skills are put to the test.
Mechanics
Unlike the previous DLC, which offered a linear story, Exodus Metro: Sam's Story provides us with an open map, which we can freely explore. We will find there, among others, old industrial buildings, a destroyed bay, and a residential district. During the game, we have to be careful not to get killed by people living in the ruins (and under them) as well as bloodthirsty mutants.
Technical aspects
Sam's Story does not change the visuals of the basic version of Metro Exodus. The audiovisual layer of the expansion presents the high level known from the original.
