Metrico+

Metrico+ for PS4, PC and XONE is an original 2D platformer game enriched with logic puzzles and arcade elements. The title is an enhanced version of the 2014’s Metrico for PlayStation Vita. It was developed by a team at Digital Dreams, an independent Dutch studio, which employs former employees of Ronimo Games (Awesomenauts) and Vlambeer (Super Crate Box). Metrico+ is a fruit of the developers’ fascination with all kinds of infographics, graphs and statistical tables that became a part of the pop culture and our everyday life in the recent decades.

Gameplay

The action of Metrico+ takes place in a world composed of infographic elements, therefore we will see various kinds of graphs that resemble natural and fantastic landscapes in the backgrounds, and the protagonist will have to overcome, for example, pie charts, bars, and statistical curves. Most of the obstacles will be overcome by solving logic puzzles or different sort of arcade challenges. Since the levels of the original Metrico were designed with the touch elements and gyroscopes of PS Vita in mind, Metrico+ offers completely new and reworked levels adjusted to the controls of consoles and PCs. Therefore, fans of the originals can rediscover the game.
