A game belonging to the cRPG genre and set in a futuristic, cyberpunk world. The authors admit that during its production they were modelled on the paper RPG with the title Shadowrun, and such games as Deus Ex, Syndicate and Fallout, so we will find in it many elements known from these very productions.

Captain Lanthan and his best friend 2nd pilot Cheris are forced to make a crash-landing on the surface of Protion after their cargo spaceship receives unrecoverable damage from asteroids. Here begins a journey full of danger and surprise. Their initial goal is quite clear: they must escape the hostile alien world where they are no more than doomed prisoners. But soon afterwards they start their wandering, Lanthan and Cheris find out that Protion possesses the only deposit of priceless mineral tactonium in the whole Galaxy. The extraction of this mineral is under the severe control of the mighty Empire. Protion is completely separate from the outer world, and the only spaceship suitable for leaving the planet is owned by the Empire. Three main races inhabiting the planet work in mines as imperial slaves. The duty of our heroes is now to unite all the peoples of Protion and raise a rebellion to bring deserved freedom to the oppressed. Standing at the head of the furious struggle, Lanthan and Cheris will learn more about the mysterious fourth race of noble Nomads that are secretly confronting the Empire, and through all the hardships reach the unpredictable final of this story.

Metalheart: Replicants Rampage is a role-playing game with a turn-based combat system and a huge game world designed in classical cyberpunk style. The characters live in the dark post-apocalyptic world inhabited by four different races: humans, mutants, cyborgs and mysterious nomads. The player can form a party of up to 6 members with characters belonging to any of the four races. To complete some quests, a player will have to hire different specialists proficient in some particular skill, like snipers, demolishers, welders and many more.

One of the most prominent features of the game is its well-balanced implant system. It allows your characters to wield different devices that alter their abilities. There are three classes of implants which vary depending on the difficulty of their installation.

The game successfully affirms all the best traditions of intelligent RPG such as Fallout and Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura. Metalheart: Replicants Rampage will satisfy even the most refined taste of true connoisseurs.
