A combination of an action game and a tower defense title, belonging to the popular 2D series. Metal Slug Attack Reloaded has us commanding units and attacking enemy installations with the hope of defeating General Morden. There are single and multiplayer modes available.

Metal Slug Attack Reloaded is a side-scrolling action game with tower defense elements belonging to the cult Metal Slug series, which debuted on arcade machines in 1996. We complete missions located in various parts of the world, facing the forces of General Morden. This is a refreshed version of the game with the same title, which was released in 2016 for mobile devices. The creators of the series, SNK Playmore studio, are responsible for its development.

Gameplay

We watch the action in Metal Slug Attack Reloaded from the side. It involves constantly moving to the right towards the enemy base, which we must destroy. On our path, we regularly encounter opponents, whom we fight by placing selected units.

A crucial element is creating a stronger front, which will not only defend our base, but also defeat enemies and their drop point.

Summoning each unit costs a certain number of points, which automatically regenerates. Together with points during each mission, a special area attack is charged, which allows to deal large damage instantly.

We have over 300 unique units at our disposal with their own descriptions and various forms of attack, including soldiers throwing grenades. The forces are divided into five factions. They include the Regular Army, with which we start the game, and the Rebel Army led by General Morden.
