Mercenaries Lament: Requiem of the Silver Wolf

One of them is Johann - he is the leader of the Silver Wolf company, who one day meets the Grim Reaper. Although the hero survives, he receives a warning that his luck will run out in 100 days. When Johann unexpectedly meets a young woman capable of healing the disease that the continent is struggling with, he decides without hesitation to embark on a journey with her to save as many lives as possible.

Gameplay

In Mercenaries Lament: Requiem of the Silver Wolf we watch the action in an isometric view. During the game, we lead a team of characters and explore locations, talk to the inhabitants of the land, and complete quests. We also often have to complete battles with opponents.

Combat takes place in turn-based mode, on arenas covered with a grid of square fields. On the battlefield, the key to success is primarily the proper placement of individual team members. The combat value of our subordinates is increased by the advantage of height over adversaries, as well as attacking from the side or from behind.

Additionally, after filling a special indicator, team members can enter the "Advent Soul" state, gaining a boost and being able to launch so-called Advent attacks. They are special, coordinated movements, available when the opponent is between two of our characters. In addition, in the Advent state, we get special abilities called Soul Exceed, which are unique to individual heroes and heroines.

As we progress, we develop characters using skill points. It's worth remembering that skills are not tied to their classes, so they can be freely changed.
