A multiplayer shooter that allows players to play as titans and take part in a war, the winner of which will be called the god. We have at our disposal an extensive arsenal and a wide range of combat skills, which can be selected according to individual preferences. The whole is complemented by a destructible environment, which can be used for the player's own benefit if they are seasoned in battles.
Megalith is an FPS game developed by an independent studio called Disruptive Games. In order to work, the game requires virtual reality headgear.
Plot
Megalith takes us to a mythical version of a distant past when Earth was inhabitet by the titans. . During the game, players participate in the war started by the titans. Whoever emerges victorious shall be called a god.
Mechanics
In the Megalith players observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). The gameplay is based on multiplayer battles taking place across various arenas. Players' primary goal is to eliminate the remaining titans. This can be achieved by using an extensive arsenal and a wide range of skills which can be selected according to one's individual preferences; it is also useful to employ an appropriate strategy and cooperate with other players. Unlike most games designed for VR headgear, Megalith allows players to move smoothly around the environment.
Technical aspects
Players are bound to appreciate the 3D visuals featured in Megalith mainly due to the eye-catching design. It is worth noting that the environment is subject to destruction, which can be used for the player's own benefit e.g. by destroying the cover the opponent is hiding behind.
