Mega Coin Squad Description
Mega Coin Squad is a dynamic, 2D platformer, designed for 1 to 4 players and referring to classic arcade hits. The game was created in cooperation between Big Pixel Studios and Adult Swim Games.
Mechanics
Mega Coin Squad takes place in a lost world called Mega Coin Island, filled with mutated enemies and many dangerous traps. Our task is to find all the ancient coins, guarded by the dangerous inhabitants of the island. The task is made even more difficult by the fact that the locations are not static, but change constantly during the course of the game.
Players have at their disposal five different heroes, with slightly different skills, which can be further developed as the game progresses. The characters can use a total of 40 types of weapons.
Game modes
During the single-player campaign, we can expect 16 quite complex levels, divided into 4 different worlds. In addition, there is also a local multiplayer mode where up to 4 players can compete on one map in 4 different game modes: Bank the Coins, Mega Coins, Hold the Rainbow and Deathmatch. Tournament parameters and winning conditions are set by the players themselves, although you can also jump play the Quick Match variant.
Technical aspects
Mega Coin Squad is characterized by colorful, old-school graphics referring to hits from 8- and 16-bit eras. The game takes place at an extremely fast pace but is facilitated by a simple and intuitive control model.
