Mega Blast is an arcade production of the native LK Avalon, modelled on the great Hudson Soft - Dyna Blaster studio hits. The game copies the best features of the original, while introducing several interesting solutions.

The task of the player, moving in a maze of steel and concrete slabs, is to destroy all enemies, which are both randomly generated monsters, as well as computer-controlled or live opponents. In order to do this, it is necessary to skillfully use the deadly bombs possessed in the arsenal. We can put them in certain places, or throw them vertically or horizontally, taking care not to fall prey to our own weapons because of inattention.

At the beginning of the game we have only one bomb with a small range, but by breaking concrete blocks, we can come across both additional bombs and bonuses to increase the strength and range of the explosion. Sometimes we also come across surprises, the action of which is covered with mystery. They can make the game easier by accelerating a human being controlled by us or the ability to penetrate walls, or make it noticeably more difficult, e.g. by turning the screen upside down or changing directions of movement. We have dozens of different stages to overcome, requiring dexterity and the use of different combat tactics.

Mega Blast is characterized by unattractive, gray-beet graphic design. Compared to the original, the charts are much larger, but less detailed and visually uninteresting. On the other hand, there is a varied soundtrack that accompanies our struggle. We can play alone or in multiplayer mode, where up to 4 live (or computer-controlled) players can compete on one screen.
