MechWarrior 4: Vengeance is an epic game in which the player fights for control of an alien planet by directing incredibly armored, huge combat machines weighing more than 100 tons.
MechWarrior 4: Vengeance, developed by the creators of Battle Tech Universe and the original MechWarrior, is a game of epic scope, in which the players fight for planetary domination by driving huge, heavily-armored battle machines. Being the last living descendant of a dynasty that once reigned, the player has to avenge the death of his father and destroy those who seized the power for themselves.
Contrary to the previous installment in the series where combat took place mostly on separate maps, the action of MechWarrior 4: Vengeance takes place in huge, dynamic world that is inhabited by allies, neutral clans and our deadliest enemies.
The game offers over 30 various missions (such as palace assault, stopping enemy’s landing, one-on-one duels, and so on) and 21 mechs (six of which are completely new) that can be modified and equipped with new weapons, shields, sensors and the like. Each of those machines has its pros and cons, which forces the player to make a choice depending on the mission parameters.
MechWarrior 4: Vengeance also offers new multiplayer options, allowing to play in the Battle Tech Universe. The players may also create their own missions, open their own servers and also play in cooperative mode.
