Mass Effect 2: Kasumi - Stolen Memory Description
Kasumi's Stolen Memory is an add-on to Mass Effect 2. This DLC enriches the game with a new character, and also offers the opportunity to complete an interesting quest.
The extension focuses on Kasumi Goto, a mysterious thief with whom Shepard decides to meet at the Citadel. Kasumi asks the protagonist to assist her in entering the property of an arms dealer called Donovan Hock. The thief has plans to steal a neuroimplant belonging to her former partner, Keiji Okuda, who was cruelly murdered by Hock. The plan is to attend the party organized by Donovan claiming to be a famous person from the dark underworld. This is to allow careful examination of the property and to locate and break into the owner’s vault.
An important information is that Kasumi accompanies the protagonist not only in the expedition to the estate, but also after its completion, thus becoming a full member of the team. The thief is also in many ways a unique. She has a very useful ability Shadow Strike. As the name suggests, this ability allows her to activate a cloak, safely reach the rear of the enemy units, and attack the enemies by surprise.
The action of the DLC takes place in the Hock’s mansion. Apart from the great salon, we also visit security room, Hock’s bedroom, the great vault, or storage areas. The developers ensured both the high dose of exploration combined with the examining interactive objects, and a lot of combat, during which Shepard battles trained soldiers and various mechs. The adventure ends with a spectacular boss fight during which a careful planning of our movements is required.
Other features offered by this extension is entirely new technology, Locust machine gun, evening dress for Shepard, and the ability to scan several new planets.
