Steam
A narrative-driven adventure game created by Oldblood - an independent developer. The player takes on the role of a man who is sure that he will become a sadist in the future - the protagonist is haunted by hallucinations filled with brutality and those are supposedly premonitions of the crimes he is to commit. As for the source of such ominous inclinations, apparently his parents' genes are to blame for this.

[1:31] Masochisia trailer
Twinfinite: 3 / 5 by Chaz Miller
I won't say that you should buy Masochisia, but if you're interested, it's available for $7.99 on Steam. This is probably a fair price, given the detail that seems to have gone into its development. If you've got no problem delving into some of the darker corners of the human mind, this is a solid pick-up. If any of the topics I mentioned before make you doubt, though, it's probably best to stay away.
The Escapist: 3 / 5 by Nick Monroe
Great halloween season type of game, for the scary story enthusiast. Fans of spooky stories and dark folklore will find a lot to love in Masochisia.
Digitally Downloaded: 4 / 5
A point and click adventure game, Masochisia is played from a first-person perspective. But unlike games of similar ilk, you can only move sideways and your interactive options are severely limited, making Masochisia an extremely linear game. The narrative of Masochisia is terribly fascinating. It tackles issues that are definitely not for minors, and the heavy use of graphic and unsettling imagery are not for the easily offended. In fact, there's very little about this game that makes it recommendable, seeing it is easily one of the most upsetting and visually distressing video games in existence. Most of the horror in other games comes from specially-created monsters and storylines that are unique to that environment. Here in Masochisia the catalyst to nightmares boils to these five words: "based on a true story".
Masochisia Description
Masochisia is a narrative adventure game developed by Oldblood.
Story
Masochisia tells the story of a young man, who is certain that he will become a human monster in the future. This conviction did not come from nowhere – both of his parents are sadists and undoubtedly passed this inclination to him in the genes. As a matter of fact, his older brother already walks the same path. Moreover, the protagonist is haunted by brutal hallucinations that foretell the crimes which he will commit sooner or later.
The game takes on difficult themes, including mental illnesses, depression as well as both physical and psychological violence experienced by children.
Mechanics
Masochisia is a narrative adventure game. It is non-linear to a large extent and is shaped by our decision and actions. The story revolves around the issue of free will – everything in the protagonist’s life pushes him towards becoming a psychopath, but his fate is not sealed yet. We may either fight our nature or fully succumb to it.
Most of the time, we explore subsequent locations, have conversations, and make decisions that direct the story towards different paths. Thanks to the last of activities listed above, each playthrough creates a different story.
