Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins is a compilation of two classic, arcade fights known from earlier generation slot machines and consoles (including PlayStation One and Xbox). The package included Marvel Super Heroes (1997) and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (1998). Developers from Capcom have taken care of HD visuals and new gameplay modes.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins Description
The heroes of Marvel are back on the fighting ground ready to battle with Capcom's greatest legends and with each other. In Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins, you get two classic 90s Marvel arcade games for the price of one, with the same crazy gameplay alongside improved visuals, online play, and new features.
The Two Games
Marvel Super Heroes features over 10 classic heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe, fighting for control of the Infinity Gauntlet. This brings into play the Infinity Gem system, in which players battle for control of six gems which can change the outcome of a match.
Marvel vs. Capcom features over 15 starting playable characters from throughout Marvel and Capcom lore, and features dozens of other hidden and assist characters, all with unique talents. You can even combine both of your team's Hyper Combos together, or join forces for a short period using the Duo Team Attack.
New Features
Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins takes the fight across the world with GGPO-enabled online play, including ranked games and spectator mode. The visuals have also been upgraded, with multiple options available for filters, frames, and even scan lines. Replays of your favorite matches can be saved and viewed locally, or with your friends online.
Finally, a dynamic challenge system for both games will allow players to earn points that unlock various goods in the in-game Vault.
