Marvel Universe Description
An MMO game set in the Marvel universe, created by Gazillion Entertainment which set up an internal development studio called Secret Identity especially for the purpose of its production. The works on Marvel Universe began in 2009. The people involved in the project included comics creators such as Brian Michael Bendis, co-author of volumes from series House of M. and Ultimate Spider-Man, among others. From the very beginning the developers assumed that their production would be targeted at a very wide audience, and detailed knowledge about the original comic books would not be necessary. Nevertheless, locations and events presented in the plot were depicted with attention to consistency of the Marvel universe.
In contrast to many competing productions, players don’t have to create new characters in Marvel Universe; they can play as their favorite superheroes. Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine, and even Squirrel Girl can be found among the playable characters. Each character has distinctive skills and powers.
The game uses the proven Unreal Engine graphics technology which provides a good compromise between quality visuals and reasonable hardware requirements.
