A cyberpunk role-playing action game developed by Spiders (the creators of e.g. Of Orcs and Men and Faery: Legends of Avalon). A hundred years after a disaster that plunged the Red Planet into chaos, Mars is being ravaged by a devastating war for water and survival. The game features genre elements familiar to any RPG fan. The gameplay consists mostly of completing the quests you receive, exploring locations, and fighting enemies.

Mars: War Logs is an offer that Spider Studios has for role-playing game lovers. The creators of Of Orcs and Men and Faery: Legends of Avalon decided to take a break from fantasy genre by offering players a jurney into the future.

As the title indicates, Mars: War Logs is set on the Red Planet. The game's story shows the events that take place a hundred years after the disaster, which plunged the planet into chaos. Water has become the most valuable resource, and various organizations fight for it. Roy Temperance, the main character controlled by the player, is a former member of one of the warring factions. Like many, he is trying to survive in this inhospitable place. Incidentally, he gets entangled into a plot that could weigh on the fate of the entire Martian colony.

The game is based on the classic role-playing game solutions. Players can develop their character through dozens of skills and perks. It is also possible to recruit encountered characters to your team and to craft new items. The developers also made sure that the actions and decisions made by Roy had an impact on the course of the story.

Real time combat is an important element of the gameplay. The protagonist and his companions must face hundreds of enemies, including numerous beasts living in the surface of Mars. They can help themselves to a large arsenal of weapons and varied combat abilities.

Mars: War Logs makes use of an engine designed by Spider Studio - The Silk Engine, which had previously been used, among others, in Of Orcs and Men.
