Mario Sports Mix is a sports compilation where players take control of Nintendo's game heroes and compete in four team disciplines for the Mushroom Kingdom championship. The production was developed in a very dexterity style, reminiscent of other sports games named after the most famous character created by Shigeru Miyamoto.

A player fighting against an opposing team gains not only points in Mario Sports Mix, but also various bonuses, which can be used to increase his skills/opportunities for a short time (magic beats, shots, etc.), or to prevent a rival from carrying out a successful action.
