Mario Forever is a nice modification of the famous Nintendo game, which was prepared by a one-man institution called Buziol Games. As in the original, we are dealing here with a classic platformer. The player will therefore run right all the time, beating monsters, jumping and collecting coins and various bonuses that make gameplay easier. The program is divided into several large worlds, which contain individual boards. Once all of them have been completed, you can save the state of the game in one of the three slots selected at the beginning of the game, so that you don't have to start from the beginning every time. Before the start of the game, the program also allows you to exchange additional "live" for bonuses, which can make it much easier to later struggle.
The game, as befits a solid clone, contains not only all the elements characteristic of the original, but also a few novelties. One of them is the above mentioned ability to save the state of the game, others include new opponents and fancy bonuses. In the group of the latter you will find e.g. a magical beet that destroys everything around you, including the walls, or the green Lui that allows you to make larger jumps.
The same paragraph should be devoted to the audio-visual setting, which is simply excellent. Nice high-resolution graphics, smooth scrolling and pleasant music and sounds enhance the aesthetic experience. Undoubtedly, in all respects, this is the best clone of two-dimensional Mario that has ever been released on a PC. It is also worth mentioning that it is fully executed in Polish (English as an option) and works on Windows.
