A dynamic platformer with racing game elements, in which we take control of a ball rolling across forty crazy tracks, trying to reach the finish line in the shortest possible time. The tracks were not only littered with various obstacles, traps, and jumps, but also power-ups increasing our chances of success.

Marble It Up! is a three-dimensional platformer enriched with elements of a racing game, which was released by Bad Habit Productions. The title is a result of cooperation between four independent teams: The Engine Company, Alvios, Arcturus Interactive and Shapes And Lines.

Mechanics

In Marble It Up! we take control of a ball rolling on crazy routes. Observing it from a third person perspective (TPP), we travel on forty winding tracks full of various obstacles, traps and jumps, trying to reach the finish line in the shortest possible time. By collecting power-ups scattered along the way, we increase our chances of winning - they can slow down time, accelerate the ball to dizzying speeds or enable distant jumps. As we progress, we unlock the skins with which we can decorate the ball.

Game modes

After completing all the stages waiting in Marble It Up!, players can improve their skills by racing with their "ghosts", or try to conquer online record boards, looking for clues in the replays of the fastest rides.

Technical aspects

Marble It Up! has three-dimensional graphics maintained in a colorful style. It is noteworthy that the production operates in constant sixty frames per second.
