Magna Carta: Tears of Blood is a typical representative of Japanese RPG games, the brightest point of which is the Final Fantasy series. This game, nearly a year after its premiere in Japan, passed through the big water and was published in a more understandable language by Atlus.

You play the role of Calintz, the leader of an elite military unit, the Tears of Blood who vows revenge on those who destroyed his land. In the midst of his quest he comes across a mysterious girl who might hold the key to putting an end to this bloody conflict. Could this chance encounter somehow change the future for all of Efferia? Magna Carta: Tears of Blood is scheduled to ship this winter on the PlayStation 2.
