Hybrid turn-based strategy and RTS, based on the Magic: The Gathering card game license. The player takes on the role of one of the mighty mages and ends up on the continent of Corondor, where he takes part in a war for influence with other wizards. The title has both a multiplayer Duel mode and a feature campaign in which we try to gain control over the whole land.

Magic: The Gathering - Battlemage is a hybrid of turn-based strategy game and RTS, based on the license of the famous card game Magic: The Gathering. The game was developed by Realtime Associates and published by Acclaim Entertainment.

Story

Magic: The Gathering - Battlemage takes us to the fantasy land of Corondor. Black clouds hung over the continent when planeswalker Ravidel decided to eliminate the remaining mages and take control of the whole territory. To this end, he lures to Corondor the most powerful wizards, whom he imprisons and forces into fratricidal battle; these unfortunate mages are the Conquerors who, like Ravidel, would like to take over the land and the Defenders who would like to defend it at all costs against the plots of their adversaries.
