Continuation of unusual action game made by Bullfrog in 1994. In Magic Carpet 2 we play as a wizard from the original game. This time we face a powerful demon Vissiluth and his minions. Ruler of the dark Netherworld wants to use the knowledge of our dead mentor to take control over the world of the living. In comparison to the original, the main concept of the game remained unchanged and during the game we sit on our flying carpet again to fight a host of monsters and hostile mages in a series of subsequent missions.

A unique first-person action game, developed by Bullfrog, that can be described as an arcade simulator of the eponymous flying furniture. Its story is set in a fantasy world inhabited by many mythical creatures, with us taking the role of a young wizard, who, after the death of his mentor, decides to follow in his footsteps. The objective of the game is to gather enough magical energy to bring back peace to the lands ravaged by internal conflicts of mages. During each mission we are given our own castle and a unique means of transport in the form of a flying carpet. The gameplay takes place in fully three-dimensional environment and concentrates on fighting enemies by using 20 different offensive and defensive spells. There are also some supporting incantations, e.g. summoning an army of skeletons or teleporting back to our stronghold to regain energy.
