A real-time strategy taking place at the end of the fourth era, when the magic that disappeared from the world after the First Mages' War returned. Those who survived the war, still devoured by old animosities, try to discover the mystery of a new power in the hope of destroying old enemies. Some of the new Mages are eager for power, knowledge or gold, while others want to unite all races and restore peace to the world.
Various prophecies spoke of the coming of great darkness at the end of the fourth era, called Asthorra. Prophecies have provoked much controversy, although it was agreed that the demon, expelled from the world for long millennia, would awaken and bring chaos and destruction. Most of the Mages ignored the prophecies, but a few were still looking for a way to destroy Asthorra.
Players take on the role of Lords of Magic, building their empire, gathering spells of unprecedented power and leading an army of heroes, monsters and soldiers into battle. Mage Lord is also a race against time. We need to discover the truth about the imminent danger and find a way out of it, in the meantime fighting with rival Mages or uniting in a common fight.
- Epic battles with lots of units and lots of combat and defensive spells.
- All unit characters have three-dimensional graphics representing armies of people, elves, dwarves or rulers of the dead.
- You can choose one of the ready-made Magic Lords characters or create a unique Magic by choosing a race, special skills and characteristics in different spheres of magic.
- Each breed has its own types of units, as well as its advantages and disadvantages.
- Individual battles have a significant impact on the whole game: the conquered areas increase the strength of the empire, the seized enemy troops can be incarnated into the ranks of their own army the next day.
