Madden NFL 25 (2013)

Madden NFL 25 is the 29th edition of the most popular sports simulation cycles of American football in the history of video games. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the series, the publisher decided to change the traditional numbers indicating the year of manufacture (e.g. Madden NFL 13 - 2012, Madden NFL 08 - 2007, etc.), by entering number 25 in the title.

Following the example of the previous games in the series, Madden NFL 25 allows the players to guide the players of their favorite football teams. Thanks to the license of the largest American football league, NFL (National Football League), the developers could use authentic team names and the names of the players of the 2013/2014 season and earlier.

Traditionally, the developers provided many variants of game modes, both single- and multiplayer. The players can therefore play a quick game against the computer AI or a live opponent, take part in one of the tournaments, or play a full season. During the games, there is the possibility of controlling the actions of each of the players on the field, as well as selecting the appropriate settings for the team, set tactics, or reform the playing team.

Changes introduced in Madden NFL 25 include improved physics engine, a completely new system of collisions between players called Force Impact, as well as 30 new moves and actions that can be performed on the virtual fields. Also, a greater emphasis was put on social features related to the Madden Ultimate Team service and the Madden Share system.

Madden NFL 25 is the first game in the series powered by Infinity Engine 2, which resulted in a significant improvement in the visual layer (e.g. more natural facial expressions of the virtual players and spectacular setting of the matches). The possibility to use the motion controller to control certain functions of the game is also noteworthy.
