A city builder strategy game with shooter elements, developed for Android and iOS devices. It was developed by On5, the creators of, among other titles, RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, in cooperation with Atari. The mobile Lunar Battle is a modern interpretation of an Atari’s game of the same title that was released for arcade machines in 1982. This time around, it is an interesting combination of a strategy production and a shooter.

Lunar Battle is another game created by On5, studio known from RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile. The title was developed in cooperation with Atari, which is also the publisher of the game.

Mechanics

The title is a kind of modern look at Lunar Battle - an Atari game released on arcade machines back in 1982. However, the new part differs significantly from the older installment and is a classic representative of the city builder genre, i.e. an economic strategy, in which we deal with the development and management of the city. While playing Lunar Battle we create our metropolis, which is also a cosmic base. Developers have prepared a number of different buildings for various applications. However, it all comes down to efficient financial management and ensuring a dignified life for the inhabitants.

The economic layer is not all, because during the story campaign we often have to face the threat of alien life forms. Additionally, it is possible to conduct PvP battles in space.
