Story

In Forgotten Books: Stolen Kingdom we find ourselves in a fantastic, fairy-tale world. The main character is a young alchemist who decides to leave the academy and finish her studies under the care of a great master. Unfortunately, her family home is deserted and her parents have disappeared in mysterious circumstances - as if that wasn't enough, both the residence itself and the whole kingdom hide a dark secret. The protagonist's task is to solve this mystery (which requires exploring the knowledge hidden in the mysterious amulet), face the avenger lying in wait for her and restore the old order in the whole kingdom.

Mechanics

Gameplay in Forgotten Books: Stolen Kingdom is based on solving various logic puzzles and hidden object boards. During the game, the alchemist visits 30 locations, where she finds subsequent tips on the court intrigue, as well as useful, usually carefully hidden objects. The profession of the heroin is reflected in an extensive system of alchemy.

Technical aspects

Characteristic feature of Forgotten Books: Stolen Kingdom are the two-dimensional, hand-drawn visuals. The gameplay is enriched by animated cut-scenes, thanks to which the player gets to know the the story. The whole things is complemented by music composed for the needs of the title.
