Another add-on for The Lord of the Rings Online. In War of Three Peaks, Standing Stone Games takes the heroes to Orc-occupied Gundabad to help the dwarf army regain the city.
The Lord of the Rings Online: War of Three Peaks is the twenty-eighth big update to the MMORPG taking us to the Middle-earth. It was developed by the Standing Stone Games studio, which takes care of The Lord of the Rings Online.
Plot
The Lord of the Rings Online: War of Three Peaks represents the next chapter in the history of the Fourth Age. This time the players will help the dwarf prince, who is sending an army to take the city of Gundabad from the hands of orcs commanded by Gorgar, the son of Bolg known from The Hobbit, or There and Back Again.
Mechanics
The expansion does not change the gameplay, and focuses on providing new content. This includes missions commissioned by Prince Durin, which players can take on alone or together with a friend at levels from 20 to 130 in order to obtain valuable loot. The Amdân Dammul raid will also bring them along, allowing the heroes to stand up to the final battle for the Three Peaks. The alternative is a visit to a new, 6-man instance (Shakalush).

Technical aspects
Apart from adding new locations, characters and enemies The Lord of the Rings Online: War of Three Peaks does not make major changes to the technical layer of the main game. This one, by the way, is required to play the expansion, which is not stand-alone and is paid.
