LittleBigPlanet Karting

The LittleBigPlanet series belongs to the canon of arcade games on the PlayStation. Developers from the United Front Games studio in Canada (supported by the Media Molecule team) decided, however, to go beyond the usual patterns, preparing its racing version. LittleBigPlanet Karting combines the universe of Sackboy, the ability to build your own boards and the thrilling competition of go-karts.

The game was inspired by the ModNation Racers series and the Mario Kart series, known from the consoles produced by the Nintendo concern. These ideas, however, have been extended to include a wide range of options for constructing your own crazy tracks, as well as customising the appearance of the heroes and vehicles.

As in the other games from the LittleBigPlanet series, players have the opportunity to get to know the adventures of a rag puppet - Sackboy and his friends. This time, however, the characters take part in crazy rallies, riding various twisted machines. In addition to racing, the game also offers adventure elements and arcade mini-games. The gameplay is designed with the technical capabilities of the PlayStation Move controller in mind. However, it is also possible to play with traditional steering wheels and gamepads.

The biggest advantages of LittleBigPlanet Karting include an extensive board editor, which allows you to intuitively create new tracks and vehicles, as well as introduce your own game rules. You can also share your projects with other players via PlayStation Network.
