Levelhead is a two-dimensional platform game prepared for 1-4 players, in which we play as the small robot GR-18. The game is characterized by a fairly simple, but demanding gameplay and interestingly designed two-dimensional graphics. Butterscotch Shenanigans studio (authors of Quadropus Rampage, Roid Rage and Flop Rocket) is responsible for creating this title.
Mechanics
Levelhead is a classic representative of the 2D platformer genre. Observing our hero from side-scrolling perspective, we play through levels, running, jumping on platforms and defeating enemies. The game also enables us to create our own boards. An extensive editor is used for this purpose, containing several dozen different elements, such as enemies, traps, paths, buttons, secrets and reinforcements. The tool even allows us to create alternative game modes. We can share our content with other players using a special platform called Levelhub. There is also an option to follow the artists whose works we liked exceptionally well.
Game modes
Levelhead can be played alone or with others in a four-person local cooperation mode.
Technical aspects
Levelhead features interesting two-dimensional visuals. Both the stages, as well as the models of characters and opponents are very colorful, reminiscent of cartoons.
