Letters from Nowhere 2 is a continuation of the 2010 casual adventure. The player has an opportunity to learn more about Audrey, who, while looking for her lost husband, discovers dark secrets. Developers from Awem studio prepared over 30 new puzzles of the hidden objects type and introduced minor changes in the mechanics of the game.
Letters from Nowhere 2 is the second installment of a series of detective adventures for so-called casual (occasional players). The game production is again the responsibility of the development team specializing in games like "hidden objects" from Awem studio.
Divided into 11 episodes, the sequel tells the story of Audrey, who tries to find her husband, Patrick. After finding all the letters, the main character is sent to a sluggish town. There she discovers that her beloved is a descendant of a family on which a terrible curse has been cast. The player has to help her find the page of the mysterious diary and face the evil that threatens Patrick.
Creating a continuation of Awem Studios developers have reached for the mechanisms proven in the first part of the game, including the bonus points system, for which the player can buy facilities or unlock the additional mode of play - Unlimited Mode (Unlimited Mode). According to the canon of the genre, the game consists mainly in solving puzzles of the genus "hidden objects", and the form of enrichment are puzzles in the form of mini-logical games.
Like the original, Letters from Nowhere 2 features an eye-catching two-dimensional graphic design with hand-drawn backgrounds. There was also a climatic background music, which emphasizes the uncanny atmosphere of the presented story.
