Let it Die Description
Let it Die is another game by Grasshopper Manufacture, a studio led by the famous Goichi “Suda 51” Suda. The company previously developed such production as Killer7, No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Shadows of the Damned. Let it Die was created only with PlayStation 4 in mind and is free-to-play. The development started in 2012 with the project known as Lily Bergamo. After a few months, Grasshopper Manufacture announced another title which was believed to be a separate production. Soon after that, Goichi Suda clarified that the former game evolved into Let it Die.
Mechanics
In the game, we take part in brutal fights in which various weapons are used: from batons, through saws, to pistols. First, we have to create a fighter, though. Starting out, we have nothing but our bare fists – not even clothes. With progress, we gain access to weapons and clothing. The impatient can use the micropayment system that lets us buy equipment at any moment.
Apart from a traditional multiplayer, Let it Die for PS4 offers a system similar to that from Forza Motorsport 5. The players can be represented in fights against others by avatars that imitate our behavior. Moreover, the game is enriched by a mobile application that lets us track our progress.
