Les Manley is a life loser of the Larry Laffer type. Yes, he has a job - he is a technician in a large corporation - but he can't boast of any successes in dealing with the opposite sex. Now, however, there is a great opportunity to try your luck. Venting the chance to gain fame, Les secretly embarks on a journey to find the title King, which is, of course, Elvis Presley.
Not only the character of the main character, who would like to be surrounded by the company of beautiful women, but also the interface of the program resembles the first productions with Larry Laffer in the lead role. In the game we move with cursors or the mouse, moving the character to the desired place, but all the commands are given out by typing them using the keyboard. The dictionary contained in Les Manley in Search for the King is relatively rich and contains about 1,500 words. A certain difficulty is the fact that the program recognizes complicated orders (and sometimes even requires them), which may be an impossible barrier for people who do not speak English well.
Les Manley in Search for the King is a relaxed and enjoyable adventure, perhaps too easy for old settlers, but certainly worthy of comparison with the cult Leisure Suit Larry series. The advantage is also decent graphics in low resolution, various locations (over 70 boards) and a large portion of humor.
