A narrative point-and-click adventure game. In Leila we can play as the titular character and follow her story. The game allows us to take a deep dive into the personality and the emotions of the protagonist. This gives us a chance to get to know Leila better and understand her life choices.

Leila is a narrative point-and-click adventure game in which we learn the story of the titular woman. The game was developed by the independent team Ubik Studios from Turkey, which has in its portfolio a logic game Havsala: Into the Soul Palace they co-created.

Gameplay

In Leila the action is presented from various perspectives. We watch the events both through the protagonist's eyes (FPP) and also from "cinematic" shots. During the game, we take control over Leila and go through various stages of her life. The puzzles, which are linked to her memories, require us to interact with objects and items and manipulate them in various ways.

Over time, we not only get to know Leila's past, but also delve into her psyche, personality, and emotions. Step by step, we also learn what caused her current situation to look the way it does, and we gradually understand her life decisions better.
